HAT / RA Cooling Fluid Control Valve

The HAT/RA is a self-actuating thermal relief valve that automatically opens on rising temperatures to keep systems cool, avoid scalding, and relieve overheated temperatures from equipment or processes. This temperature activated valve operates to keep system lines warm even during non-active times.

TV/HAT-RA Cooling Fluid Control Valve (with Tube Fittings)

The TV/HAT-RA (reverse acting, heat actuated trap valve with tube fittings) is a thermal relief valve that should be installed as close to the pump casing as possible to automatically and continuously control the cooling media within the system to maintain the desired temperature. Since it is what we classify as reverse-acting, the valve will open when the fluid temperature rises to the valve’s set point.

HAT/RA-LP Cooling Fluid Control Valve (with Leak Port)

CircuitSolver® is a self-actuating thermostatic balancing valve that automatically and continuously maintains a set water temperature at the end of each domestic hot water supply in a recirculation system. It solves the problem of delayed hot water delivery while completely eliminating the need for time-consuming and expensive manual balancing.

The DTV drain tempering valve is used in applications where a high-temperature discharge flow to a drain or sewer must be tempered with cold water. The thermostatic valve automatically operates to keep drain water within appropriate plumbing code limits and prevent PVC piping damage due to over-temperature conditions.

Magnum GURU® Locomotive Freeze Protection

The Magnum GURU® Plug is a self-operating thermostatic freeze protection drain valve that responds to locomotive engine coolant temperature to keep systems from freezing. With a higher flow rate, the DL 2.1 GURU®, the Magnum GURU® will rapidly drain a 300-gallon tank in less than 14 minutes.

The GURU® Valve DL2.1 CH and CHS Plugs are self-operating drain valves that are easily retrofitted into water-cooled air compressor heads to protect the compressors from freeze damage when a locomotive is shut off. GURU® Flag and Clip

The GURU® Flag and Clip Tool allows refilling of the locomotive cooling system with cold water without tripping the GURU® Plugs. The clip is attached to the valve stem to keep it from “popping” and GURU® Flag is attached to the outer wall of the locomotive as a “visual aid” letting mechanics know that the GURU® Plug is disarmed while performing a cold-water refill of the locomotive.

GURU® Flag and Key

The GURU® Flag and Key tool works in conjunction with our locomotive freeze protection valve’s anti-tampering domed cap. This tool allows you to insert the key into the cartridge end of the valve after warming the nose of the cartridge. The purpose of the GURU® Flag and Key is to keep GURU® Plugs with anti-tampering domed caps from opening when a locomotive’s cooling water system is being refilled with cold water.

Compressor Head Cleaning Too

The Compressor Head Cleaning Tool (CHCT) allows insertion of the cleaning nozzle into the same flanged body as the freeze protection GURU® Plug Type CH or CHS on the water-cooled compressor head to clean out debris.

The EcoFlow® mechanical seal water support valve is designed with a thermal wax motor to protect double mechanical seals on pumps from overheating. This valve provides an optimum seal environment for double mechanical seals, while drastically reducing water consumption and significantly increasing cost savings.
